Everyone who was into motion graphics would remember that 2004-5 was the year of ink drops and ink splatters.This was my take on the ink bloom.

I filmed the ink footage using a DV cam and scanned in additional ink texture. With no real production experience in either After Effects or Cinema 4D, I think I did alright for a first attempt. In retrospect if I knew what I know now, I would do a lot better both in concept and execution, but hey that’s experience for you!
